A great day of Touch!
There was some excellent displays of Touch throughout the day, as the sun shone (at the beginning!) on the 6 teams participating in Round Two, of the newly formed Regional Development Series.

Bowl winners were Spartans, who had a tough time in the pools, with 1/3/1 win lose draw stats, but came out on top repeating their performance in the round robin game earlier, coming out on top of Orrell, 5-3.
The Plate was a hard fought battle, as underdogs MMU took on Turbo Chargers. An end to end match, saw MMU finish on top, coming away 4-3 winners, as they turned the tables on the earlier round game.
Blaze took the spoils in round two, after a thrilling Cup Final vs Super Chargers, going to drop off, winning 7-6 in extra time.
Roll of Honour
Thanks to all the teams for attending and playing in the spirit of the event, which is developing more players in the area.
A big shout out to those who player reffed and also full time refereed too (Kevin Hill, Sian Gilding, Phil Dawson and Kev Hattersley), much appreciated and a great job done by all!
Next one is in just three weeks time, on Feb 24th, looking forward to it already!
