The weather may have been hit and miss over the day, with a four seasons in one day feel, but that didn't dampen the day, as Blaze looked hot on the field!

We welcomed newcomers, University of Manchester to the penultimate round of the series. They had a tough time in the pool rounds, only scoring once, but come the Bowl Final time, they put four past Orrell, showing great determination and growth throughout the day.
A new look Orrell asked plenty of questions in attack and defence and had a very much improved game plan, coming close to upsetting a couple of the top sides, another great effort from the young side.
There was very little to separate the top four teams, with it coming down to just two points splitting the top three to go into the finals.
Chargers missed out on the cup final in their last pool game, as they drew against the Blaze in the final minutes, which saw them play Thorns in the Bowl Final. A tight game, with both teams playing some great Touch. Thorns turned the tables from the pool rounds, seeing them come out as winners with a 3-2 victory.
It was Blaze and Cheetahs that took their place in the Cup Final, with end to end touch. As the game progressed the Blaze squad started to pull away and a couple of scores from Josh Bendel, an interception by Ollie Holmes and a break away from Isaac Wilding eventually settled the game 9-5 to Blaze.
